A forthcoming DJ date... Martin and I will be doing our 4-deck thing in the HRP Dance Tent at the Wolfpack Music Festival. The tent will be running non-stop from 5pm Friday 8th August to 5am Sunday 10th August at Kilminning Recreation Area, Crail, Fife. More details about tickets and line-up can be found here. Cosmos vs Daft Punk came in at #6 in the end of 2002 Buzz Chart on Radio 1. Hooray. It was also listed as one of the best bootlegs of 2002 in Muzik magazine.

I have signed to Newquay's Play Recordings who will be releasing my Robofunk / Just A Dub / Perfunktory EP in 2003. There should be some nice remixes included as well. It will be released under the name Left Handed Bastard which is what I'm calling myself from now on. LHB was getting too confusing. I'm working on a remix for Play at the moment; it's for a track which samples a very famous dance tune from the 80s. Cool. Should be out next year as well.
I won the European leg of the Ministry Of Sound/Nescafe Live DJ competition in Ibiza in September. I got to play a set on the Space terrace which was fantastic. I'll get some photos online soon.
Me and my brother Martin, under the guise of Left Handed Bastard DJs, are the new residents at Perversity @ The Venue, Edinburgh. We will be playing downstairs in the cooler on Friday 15th November - other DJs on the night are Lee Dagger, Paul Barnes, and Allan Roy & Barry Fair. On Friday 20th December we'll be doubling up with some 4 deck + 2 mixer action in the main room. Cosmos vs Daft Punk is still going strong with more plays from Pete Tong both on the radio and in clubs, as well as X-Press 2, Slam, Dave Pearce (!) and loads more. It should be getting cut very soon now, as I should be getting the money back for the last Redflava white label (RFR001) in the next few days.
Speaking of which, I just got the last few copies of RFR001 returned to me so I can sell them myself, and keep a few spare to give away and whatnot. There are just over 40 copies left now. If anybody would like one for £5 including P&P then please email me. That's quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else...
I received the Lynx White Label TPs for Robofunk recently. The promos should be going out in the next week or two.

Pete Tong played my Cosmos vs Daft Punk bootleg on the Essential Selection on Friday! He also played it on the Essential Mix on Sunday which was recorded live from California. See the Radio 1 site for more info. It was amazing to hear thousands of people going mental to something that I put together. I also hear that Luke Brancaccio (of Brancaccio & Aisher) has been playing it out. Looks like this one could be pretty big!

After receiving a few enquiries, I just thought I should make it clear that I'm not the LHB who recently released the album Tell 'Em Who We Are and the single Everybody Sees It On My Face. Coincidentally we both do dance music, but I'm not associated with them in any way. Nor am I in any way associated with the LHB record label, who coincidentally also do dance music. Hope that's not too confusing. ;)
If either of the two more famous LHBs have websites then I'll gladly point people in the right direction.
The first Redflava white label (RFR001) has pretty much sold out, so I'll be doing another one as soon as I get my money... My Cosmos vs Daft Punk bootleg (not on this site yet) has been getting a lot of interest from some top DJs so that will almost definitely be on it! I also have a few new tracks (also not on this site yet), one or more of which will probably be included. In the meantime, check out DaBox to find some of my latest stuff which is on Audiogalaxy.
